Organising the Competitions (07-09-2013)

As part of Swami Vivekananda's 150^th Birth Anniversary Ratha Yatra ,competitons were conducted on Swami Vivekananda's life and message(Elocution and Essay writing) for High School and Junior College students of Inkollu town at 'Sri Ramakrishna Seva Samithi' Auditorium on 07-09-2013.

Competitions were also conducted at Ganagavaram and  J.Panguluru villages.Ganagavaram School HM Sri Kamaleswararao Garu and Smt Durga teacher arranged a lecture.Similarly Sri Narayanam Seshacharuyulu and Sri Choda Lakshminarayana arranged a lecture to the students at J.Pangulur.

RATHA YATRA(08-09-2013)

Swami Vivekananda Ratham was received on 08-09-2013,Sunday at 4.00 P.M. By students and devotees at Parachuru road.The ratha yatra proceeded  (with Melathalas)  the main road,cinema hall road,Sivalayam and finally reached Vishnalayam by 6 p.m.. Slogans ,Swadeshimantra  on Swamiji teachings were told.Chy Meenakshi,Chy Lahari,Chy Sowmya   took active role.

Exhibition bus(with life incedents of SV) and Mobile Bookstall were kept at the town center.

PUBLIC MEETING(08-09-2013)

A public meeting was organised at the 'Viveknanda Auditorium' at Sri Ramakrishna Seva Samithi.Sri Kamaleswararao,Head Master ,Gangavaram high school presided the meeting.Sri Oruganti Satayanarayana Sastry sang the opening song.Welcome address was given by Sri Potturi Peddanna ,Secretary,SRKSS.Swami Sevyanandaji Maharaj(Ramakrishna Mission,Vijayawada),Swami Arachanandaji Maharaj(Ramakrishna Ashrama) gave inspiring lectures to the students.Sri Vijaya Bhaskar,Principal,Sai Ram Concept School also spoke.

Elocution and recitation prize winners spoke.

Prizes were distributed to the students.Participation certificates were also issued to 100 students.

Prizes and certificates were sponsored by Sri U.Kiran Chowdary garu,Hyderabad (Former President,SRKSS).

Vote of Thanks were given by Sri Majeti Mallikharjuna Rao(Treasurer,SRKSS).

Prasad distribution was done and  Swamiji posters were given..

Regular Bhajan devotees and Ratha staff took dinner at Samithi.

Note

-A phamplet was prepared(1000 cpoies) ,Ratha yatra Posters (Auto stickers) were made(25 nos) and        Paper posters sent by the Math were utilised.

-Expenditure was met by the Samithi Members.

-Accomodation to Ratha Yatra Staff(25 nos) was arranged at Samithi itself.
